EMEC Background

For over twenty-five years now EMEC Machine Tools has been privileged to represent some of the finest machine tool builders in the world on an exclusive basis across our territories in Eastern Canada. From day one the mainstay of our company has been the Okuma line of machine tools and over the years we have been able to enhance our product offerings with the addition of Tsugami. Soraluce, Milltronics and Geminis.

In order to provide the highest levels of support to our customers EMEC have built a great team of dedicated professionals who collectively represent hundreds of years of experience in serving the manufacturing industry and understand how critical excellent service is in todays ultra competitive world.

With so many years in business and over 3,000 installations across our territories we have come to recognize that customers are looking to build relationships with suppliers they can trust and who can help them achieve the results they need to compete.

Along with the finest CNC machine tools in the business we offer industry leading support and services with our factory trained team of application and service engineers. This allied to our customer first approach has enabled us to differentiate ourselves from the competition and provide you with the best cradle to grave support available.

EMEC Service Group Team

With a combined experience of 95 plus years, our fully trained team of sixteen qualified service technicians, including four fully bilingual technicians in Quebec and surrounding areas, are ready to service our customers. Many of our technicians have been solely servicing the CNC Machine Tool products since their introduction in Canada in 1979.

EMEC Applications Team

The five members of our Application Engineering team have a combined 75 years of machining experience that they can bring to bear on any project. These highly qualified engineers are committed and customer oriented.

EMEC Parts Team

Our team dedicated to spare parts includes our Parts Manager and Parts Administrator, veterans of the Machine Tool Industry who bring a wealth of knowledge to every transaction and vast experience and expertise in shipping with a keen eye for all details.

EMEC Sales Team

Our highly trained, dedicated team of eight sales professionals are at your service to provide you with the best sales support our industry has to offer. With an average of over 25 years each supporting manufacturing, they bring their extensive experience to offer you, the customer, the best solutions for your machine tool needs.

EMEC Administration Team

Our administrative staff, a dynamic team of six experienced professionals, are the key elements to providing EMEC’s accounting, service and sales related support. It is this team that ensures the smooth running of operations in addition to bringing about efficiencies through best practice.
